Towards our goal of making all these happen, the Continuity Channel and ISSC are organizing the following:
The National Infrastructure Simulation and Analysis Center (NISAC) , in cooperation with both Sandia National Laboratories and the Los Alamos Laboratory, although highly capable of looking at disaster and emergency scenarios have limited global reach, do not, in general, inform the general population about these scenarios, and have no widescale educational programs that promote and encourage succeeding generations of students who may want to do research on Succession and Continuity Studies, or UTs.
The Svalbard Global Seed Vault, along with other post-nuclearists (?), Armageddonists and millennials, are limited in scope and only protect a very small niche. In the case of their view of a post-apocalyptic scenario, will only be farmers and subsistence survivors. Also, it is kind of surprising that, in the event of a worldwide catastrophe, this refrigerated nation’s vault will willingly give up their own supply for the starving populations of the world, when in the midst of present-day prosperity millions are starving in Most of all, the construction of the vault has only benefitted the few who have been contracted to create it; a typical non-American approach to disasters, catastrophes and UTs. This will not be the premise of Continuity Economics.
In all academic honesty and critical-thinking profundity, no other individual global institution (e.g. United Nations, World Trade Agreement), individual state or nation (e.g. Japan, Germany, China, Russia), or even the combined abilities of these institutions, organizations, states and/or nations, or permutations thereof, in the absence of the responsibility, leadership, and decisions of the United States, can overcome the challenges of innumerable UTs to civilization.
Continuity Economics, Continuity Science, and Continuity Technology is based on the simple combination of the “Noah Principle” and capitalism:
Noah Principle
- Build the ark
- Invite all the people, and
- Gather animals to survive the unpredictable threat of the great flood
Capitalism
- Invest capital
- Create industries
- Accumulate profit
- Create jobs
- Drive economic growth, and
- Spread prosperity
Unfortunately, as it is known, none of the people helped Noah and his family and the rest is biblical history.
With the Noah Principle in mind, Continuity Channel takes into account the irony of the American-led civilization.
Noah, in his primitive and comparatively uneducated state, with no available technology aside from what he invented, and in the absence of governmental logistical support, created one of the greatest technological projects in human history.
Ironically, the United States of America, with all its knowledge and power, not to mention technologies, infrastructure and funding will only save a pre-selected group of people in order ensure humanity’s continuity.
Simply put, the present model of a post-doomsday scenario is still based on the primeval frame of mind that only a few will be saved.
It is an affront to the legacy of the American Founding Fathers, who did not have an escape clause in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, or the Federalist Papers.
It is an insult to the collective intelligence of those who see themselves responsible for humanity that the present global system will only save members of a select few and their entourage.
IX. C.H.O.I.C.E.
For the reasons stated above, we believe, great economic opportunities arise with Continuity, involving all the individual, collective and combined markets and industries of the world.
This is where the Comprehensive Human Orientation for the Continuity of Existence (CHOICE) comes in.
CHOICE is a wide-scale, multi- and inter-disciplinary educational campaign to inform humanity about the limitless potentials of Continuity Economics, Continuity Science and Continuity Technology.
The Founding Fathers declared independence, promulgated the Constitution, and laid the groundwork for the greatest creation of wealth along with the greatest accumulation and distribution of wealth in human history.
CHOICE carries on with this noble tradition, because in Succession and Continuity Studies no one gets left behind.
